Fuel Supply – A message from our Head of Ops
Tuesday June 28, 2022
A message from our Head of Operations, Harry Harrad: “we have a reliable ongoing supply of fuel – please come and use it.”
We’re aware that fuel has been hard to come by at a number of airports across the country – primarily due to supply chain constraints and a sustained shortage of HGV drivers.
We wanted to take this opportunity to reassure you that Gloucestershire Airport has a reliable ongoing supply of fuel, including avgas, jet A1 and UL91. Small jets visiting the airport are also more than welcome to refuel.
If you would like more information on how to refuel at Gloucestershire Airport, please contact the airport’s operations team on +44(0)1452 857700 or briefing@gloucestershireairport.co.uk.
Ensuring a reliable ongoing supply of fuel is indicative of what we’re building at Gloucestershire Airport – an airport firmly at the top end of aviation standards and technology. Recently completed extensive upgrades to the airport’s runways, as well as ongoing work on CGX Connect, a new business park on the airport’s northern perimeter, are further evidence of this.
Managing Director Karen Taylor recently said that “the successful completion of these upgrades to airside infrastructure heralds the start of a new chapter for Gloucestershire Airport – possibly the single most transformative period in our recent history.”
“These are exciting times for Gloucestershire Airport as we look to cement our place as the region’s ‘gateway for growth’ – significantly contributing to the county’s ambition for economic growth, providing connectivity to and from national and international destinations, and establishing itself as a centre of excellence for all aspects of business aviation, aviation training and aviation-related research.”
