Final Project Propeller

Stephen Wood, group sharer of G-BSOG at EGBJ, stepped in for Judith Wordsworth (BAC) to take her Cheltenham WWII RAF veteran, Joe Stanley, to the last meet up of Project Propeller, at Wolverhampton Airport on 19th June 2022, organised by Graham Cowie and his excellent team.
Project Propeller was an annual reunion organised for ex-WWII aircrew, during which the veterans were flown from venues all over the UK by volunteer pilots to a host Airport for lunch and 1940’s style entertainment.
Joe had a great time, and was surrounded by Cadets asking questions. Joe also got to to see the Avro Ansen on display of which he had once been a gunner instructor on.
