Our hours

0830 to 1930 (local) weekdays - please see below schedule for reduced hours from 6 July 2024 until mid September. 
0900 to 1930 (local) weekends (summer) - please see below schedule for reduced hours from 6 July 2024 until mid September. 
0900 to 1800 (local)  weekends (winter) - please see below schedule for reduced hours from 6 July 2024 until mid September.  

Confirmed dates and timings from 6 July to mid-September are as follows:

No ATC services:
July: 21, 27, 28
Aug: 3, 4, 10, 18, 24, 31
Sept: 8

Red days - reduced hours (09:00 to 18:00 local) with closures of Approach during the day - times to be notified:
July: 6, 7, 13, 14
Aug: 11, 17, 25
Sept: 1, 7, 14, 15

Opening hours on all other days:
0900 to 1900 (local)


Due to the operational demands of an airport there may be times whereby these hours differ, please contact briefing@gloucestershireairport.co.uk for the most accurate opening times, or check NOTAMs for any necessary operational amendments.  

Activity relating to the operation of air ambulance and other emergency service helicopters have special dispensation for out of hours flights, including at night. This can be for operational reasons as well as pilot and crew training along with airframe maintenance flights. Please contact briefing@gloucestershireairport.co.uk for more information.

Flights can sometimes be accepted outside of these hours subject to the availability of Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Airport Fire Service. All movements will be subject to a surcharge. For more information, please contact Landside Operations on: 01452 857700 x 223.

Please consult our Scale of Charges for fees. These have been held and extended and are now valid until 1 November 2024.
