Bristol Aero Club welcome two FSDP Scholars
Monday May 07, 2018
Bristol Aero Club, one of our resident training schools, will be training two FSDP scholars here at the Airport over the coming weeks, both of whom have been sponsored by the RAF Charitable Trust.
Flying Scholarships for Disabled People is a charity that provides a ‘once in a lifetime’ challenge for disabled people to help them realise their abilities through the medium of learning to fly.
The aim of the scholarships are to both challenge and inspire; building up confidence, self-esteem and future aspirations. Flying training is undertaken at flying schools in the UK between May and October, and will be of three or four-week’s duration. Training includes up to 25 hours flying tuition in either a PA-28 or a Microlight aircraft and associated ground school.
Best of luck to both scholars!
